Zack & Sarah are engaged

This is Zack & Sarah.
They are elementary sweethearts (how cute is that??!) who got married in (beautiful) San Diego last weekend...

Zack was Matt's small group leader way back in Jr.High & has continued to be a mentor and friend to Matt over the years, so we were naturally super excited to shoot these engagement shots & to be a part of their wedding with our Photobooth (photos to come soon).

If I get married in San Diego some day, you'll know where my inspiration came from.
Congrats Z&S!

Becca & Adam

How adorable is little 4th grader, Adam??
Becca is one of my best friends from elementary school and the last time I saw Adam he was probably 2 years old
(funny story, when Adam was born, Becca wanted her parents to name him Chandler. Yes, like Friends.)
They wanted to give their parents updated photos of them for Christmas and here are a few of my favorites!

A Happy Klein New Years

When you grow up living 4 blocks away from the Rose Parade, you have no excuse not to go every January 1.

Now that my family lives across the country, our float viewing usually consists of sitting in our PJS and watching it on channel 7 (which I must admit, isn't all that bad actually).  If you get past the fact that you can't yell random things at the floats or trip the marching band members (ok, we never actually did that), then the televised broadcast is actually pretty enjoyable.

But this year we got to celebrate the New Year with the live parade and although Kate & I didn't have a lemonade sale following the excitement, it brought back all the memories of my childhood (and actual tears to Lenny's eyes).

Yes, my dad took this awesome shot, and no, we don't even know this friendly tuba-er (that is a tuba right?)

Yep, that's Lenny and Mary, all the way from Arizona for our parade festivities....

A Merry Klein Christmas

The Klein's had a California Christmas this year!  It's been two years since we celebrated the holidays on my side of the country so I was more than excited to pick my family up from the airport vs hopping on the first flight after finals.

Our Christmas morning was filled with loads of gifts from Santa so while Austen and Landon dove right in,

We enjoyed the simple treasures that Santa had to offer.

(Thanks Nana and Papa...)

$5 gift exchanges with 30 family members is way too much Christmas fun!
